Day 3
The lovely weather seems to be making a regular
appearance at the moment and we feel so fortunate. We began our morning
spending some in the playground, quickly deciding to make use of the field
before it became too warm. It was lovely to be able to use our imaginations and
some of us decided to create a stage to perform.
Before lunch, we decided to use salt dough to
create our own models which we thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to painting as
soon as possible.
After lunch, we decided to re-create some of
the fun we had last Wednesday and set up Britain’s Got Talent in the classroom
(it was becoming very hot outdoors!). We had four people on our judging panel:
Simon, Alesha, Amanda and David. Our contestants were amazing and it was
wonderful seeing their confidence shine through! It also became evident that
‘Dance Monkey’ is a firm favourite with the Wednesday children.
We spent a tiny bit more time outdoors but, as the sun was beaming, we decided to come and sit inside and watch Happy Feet. We had a lovely day!
